On my mouse control panel are only two tabs, however double click works perfectly.
I cant find proper code to activate scroling with one finger from the terminal

I actually only found out about these ones after the release (i.e. when i personally hit the issues). I posted these solutions on my blog, simply to get them out into the internets, where "the ultimate troubleshooting tool" (i.e. Google) can find them. When i get a chance, these notes will be integrated into the release notes, and the notes updated.

Have you been submitting these to the release notes?

It would be great if you could submit any F12 issues like this to the release notes before release - it'd be good to have a really canonical source of information like this. I keep coming across nuggets like this which didn't make it into the release notes for whatever reason. Sigh!

Apparently, the package gsynaptics may be causing this issue for you.

try the command:

rpm -qi gsynaptics

to see if that package is installed, and try removing it using:

yum remove gsynaptics

Removing the package may fix the issue of the setting not being saved. Apparently, gsynaptics is fighting with the settings and may be causing you your issues.

Hope this works.

FYI: here is the info from the rpm on the gsynapics package:

Name : gsynaptics
Version : 0.9.16
Summary : Settings tool for Synaptics touchpad driver
Description: A GTK+ tool to set scroll and tap preferences for the Synaptics touchpad driver.
