Excellent. This has been one of my pet peeves with Inkscape for some time (the various dialogs losing focus and disappearing until i “resummon” them).

On a different note, is there anyway (that you are aware of) to do freehand lines that vary in weight per the pressure of a drawing tablet? What i’m looking for is a way to simulate pen and ink drawings digitally wherein the more pressure I put on the stylus, the more “width” the line has. This is how it works on real paper, anyway. I have looked some at the calligraphy tool, but the “nibs” all are slanted, resulting in calligraphic lineweight changes instead of simple ones. If I had a circular or symmetric nib to work with, that would do, I’m just not sure how to accomplish it. Any ideas or suggestions?

Can they be dragged out to be separate windows? Can they be arranged vertically?
