By ryanlerch

Today’s feature screencast covers the node sculpting functionality of the Engraver’s Toolbox (which is a part of the calligraphy tool.) To use it, choose the Calligraphy tool, and hold down ALT or ALT+Shift and then drag. This will thin or thicken your path.

    Oh my GAWD!

Make it twirl, zig-zag and puff out like clouds and I’ll never use Illustrator again!
I’ve been following Planet Inkscape for a while and your posts are just awe-inspiring work.
    Thank you,
    David

Hey! That is one cool feature!

Oh, BTW where is that “paint bucket” button you’ve got there? Is that a plugin or something? Where can I get it?

    Thanks,
    Stojance

hey Stojance! all these screencasts that i am doing are upcoming features in the 0.46 release of inkscape. If you want to use try them out,(and not wait for the stable release…) you can download a development version of Inkscape from inkscape.org
